The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) will host a listening session on May 25 at 2 p.m. EST to garner input regarding its Minority Depository Institutions Preservation (MDIP) program. The 90-minute event will be held at the agency’s headquarters, 1775 Duke Street, Alexandria, Va.
Monica Davy, Director of the NCUA Office of Minority and Women Inclusion, will lead a panel of experts giving perspective on improving the MDIP program. The panelists who will be attending include:
- Timothy Anderson, board chairman, African American Credit Union Coalition
- Carla Decker, board member, Network of Latino Credit Union Professionals
- Robert Leonard, director, Division of Consumer Access, Officer of Consumer Protection, NCUA
- Martha Ninichuk, deputy director, Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives, NCUA
- Pamela Owens, VP of programs, National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions
- Elliot Weiss, supervision analyst, Region III, NCUA
