NCUA's Community Development Grant Applications Due by June 30

Eligible credit unions have until June 30 to apply for grant assistance through the National Credit Union Administration's Community Development Revolving Loan Fund, the regulator said Thursday.

NCUA noted that applicants are now required to register with the federal government's System for Award Management.

Credit unions with questions about registering should contact the Federal Service Desk online or by telephone at 866-606-8220. There is no registration fee.

CUs may submit one application for all initiatives using NCUA's CyberGrants Program. Each credit union may apply for more than one initiative. However, grant awards are subject to the availability of funds. Information on eligibility criteria and grant initiatives can be found online here.

Applicants with questions about the Community Development assistance grants can contact NCUA's Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives at oscuiapps@ncua.gov.
