DUBLIN, Ireland—Irish credit unions soon will be able to offer Personal Retirement Savings Accounts (PRSAs) to their members without seeking special permission, once new regulations introduced by the nation’s Minister for Finance are implemented. Previously, CUs had to apply for the right to offer PRSAs individually. The new rules come on the heels of discussions among the Department of Finance, the Pensions Board, the Registrar of Credit unions and the Department of Social and Family Affairs.
