COLONIE, N.Y. – CAP COM FCU, thwarted earlier this year in efforts to build a new headquarters, has a new plan for a home office.
The $1 billion credit union’s new plan is for a headquarters bigger than the 93,000-square-foot offices planned off of Rt. 9 and calls for a three-story, 150,000-square-foot building.
CAP COM has an agreement to buy 11 acres less than a mile from the credit union’s main office and branch at Computer Drive East.
CAP COM called off earlier project after an adjourning landowner weighed in against it.
