New York’s SEFCU Acquires Skidmore Employees FCU

ALBANY, N.Y. – Skidmore (University) Employees FCU said it has agreed to merge into SEFCU, the credit union giant formerly known as State Employees FCU. Skidmore Employees FCU was chartered in 1974 and has more than $5.7 million in assets and over 1,000 members. This is the second merger in five months for $1.4 billion SEFCU, which acquired Niagara Frontier State Employees FCU in November.
