New York’s SEFCU Contributes $100,000 To Youth Jobs Center

ALBANY, N.Y. – SEFCU announced a donation of $100,000 Northeast Parent & Child Society’s "We Build Futures" Capital Campaign to construct the SEFCU Job Center on the first floor of Northeast’s Career Development Center in Schenectady.

The new center will allow Northeast to increase the number youth receiving agency career services from 100 to 250 per year. Thirty-two staffers will assure that at least 150 youth per year find and maintain well-paying jobs.

In December 2008, SEFCU, once known as State Employees FCU, donated $2,000 to Northeast to fund holiday needs.
