The money will help Upstate Medical University, site of the Upstate Cancer Center, pay for the Vero Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy system, which offers a combination of advanced treatment and imaging technologies.

The pledge comes six months after the $2.5-billion credit union donated $500,000 to the Albany-based St. Peter’s Hospital’s capital campaign, funding a new program called SEFCU Cares about your Heart and the St. Peter’s Cardiac Health and Wellness Program.
