Students Design 30-Second CU Ad

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-In an effort to design a campaign aimed at younger consumers, Community West CU asked the youngsters themselves-inviting local high school students to develop a 30-second commercial for it.

Under the guidance of professionals from Full Circle Marketing & Design, the students wrote, directed and shot the video, which currently is appearing before feature films at local Celebration Cinema theaters.

The commercial has a youthful theme of new media such as Facebook and text messaging.

The campaign already is attracting attention. Community West CU said the ad should continue to generate hits to the website and drive inquiries to the credit union as the busy summer movie season gets underway.
