Norsco Federal CU in Norristown, Pa., has completed its merger with TruMark Financial CU in Trevose, Pa.
The merger, which closed on Oct. 1, expands the $1.5 billion-asset TruMark's presence in southeastern Pennsylvania, where it operates 16 branches.
It also expands the list of financial products available to Norsco customers, including mobile banking, consumer loans and investment services.
"The merger will allow former Norsco Federal CU members the convenience of more branches and state-of-the-art technology, said Richard Stipa, TruMark's chief executive, in a press release Thursday.
The $20 million-asset Norsco originally sought to merge with TruMark because the building where it operated its only branch was being closed down.
