North Carolina SECU Donates $300,000 To Hospice

RALEIGH, N.C. – State Employees’ CU, which has been helping renovate the state’s network of critical care hospices, said its SECU Foundation contributed $300,000 yesterday to the Hospice Cleveland County in Shelby, N.C.

Funds will go to offset construction costs on the eight-bed Kings Mountain Hospice House, which should open soon.

The $20 billion credit union’s non-profit foundation has donated almost $5 million to build and renovate critical care hospices all over North Carolina since 2008.
