RALEIGH, N.C. – North Carolina State Employees CU yesterday said it has contracted with PSCU Financial Services to offer prepaid gift cards at its 213 branches by mid-October, in time for the Christmas season. Cards will be available in denominations of $20 to $500. Unlike cash or gift certificates, a Visa gift card can be replaced if lost or stolen. These cards also offer the added functionality of providing the recipient with the means to view transaction history and available card balance information online.
