RALEIGH, N.C. – State Employees CU said last week it has upgraded its industry-leading fleet of 975 ATMs with voice guidance technology to aid its visually impaired members.
The technology provides a "talking" ATM. allowing visually impaired members to plug in their headphones and listen to instructions for conducting transactions at any of the credit union’s ATMs.
The talking ATMs join other special needs offered benefits offered by the credit union giant, including Braille and large print statements, TDD services for the hearing impaired, web accessibility and mobility accessible vehicle loans.
