Sharetec noted that NICCU has selected a variety of products that will “help them grow their membership and increase their earnings.” Some of these products include picture pay, “much enhanced” mobile banking compared to what the members are currently using, and the integrated membership and loan application system.

"Sharetec is the best choice for NICCU because they will enable us to provide the best tools in our branches and online,” Scott Shipman, president of NICCU, said in a statement. “We look forward to offering our members easy online services that will help us serve them better and be more cost-effective."

Matt Isger, regional director for Sharetec, stated that "wanting a system they can trust and one that won’t drown them in unnecessary costs, NICCU selected Sharetec because of our proven success in providing our customers a robust system with up-to-date technology. We look forward to this new partnership with NICCU and all the success coming their way."

According to its call reports, NICCU posted net income of about $124,000 in 2016, up from about $11,000 in the prior year.
