SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Members of Notre Dame FCU are being targeted by a new online scam. The scam begins with a phony e-mail warning members about clicking on certain links, then follows up with an e-mail that directs them to a phony website that looks like the credit union’s site. The fake site prompts members to re-enter sensitive information, including their account number, password and ATM PIN, expiration date, security code and password. It is not clear whether any credit union members fell for the scam.
