CU Achieves 13% Growth In Card Accts

DALLAS-Complex Community CU worked with TNB Card Services to drive a 13% increase in new card accounts in 2009. The credit union implemented a company-wide card product training program and created marketing materials that compared the Complex Community card to national cards and other local issuers. Additionally, the CU initiated an incentive program for employees.

IS & Risk Mitigation Guide Offered

SAN DIMAS, Calif.-WesCorp issued its "Information Security and Risk Mitigation Guide," which details how to implement security controls on a CU's ACH applications and the workstations supporting those systems. WesCorp said it offers a wealth of information on ways to reduce the risk of technology intrusions, no matter what application the CU may be running. The guide is available upon request.

ATM Cash Forecasting Now Online

DALLAS-Morphis, Inc., a global provider of currency supply chain and payment management software, announced the immediate availability of MorphisONLINE/ATMCash, its new browser-based ATM cash forecasting tool. The company said MorphisONLINE/ATMCash is the first in a series of cash tools it plans for delivery via the Web, which will allow credit unions, banks and retailers to simplify and automate basic cash management tasks, Morphis said.

WEOKIE CU Selects Clayco

ST. LOUIS-Clayco, Inc., recently was named design-builder for the new 22,000-square-foot operations center for WEOKIE Credit Union. Located in Oklahoma City, Okla., the financial facility will house the credit union's mortgage servicing, accounting, collections, marketing and call center and is slated for completion in November.

Palmetto CUSO, Rosetta Tech Team Up

IRMO, S.C.-Palmetto Cooperative Services, LLC, a CUSO providing operational support services, and Rosetta Technologies, a provider of MICR printers and check and Image Replacement Document (IRD) software solutions, said PCS has begun reselling Rosetta's IRD Express Pack printing solution.

Rosetta said its IRD Express Pack contains everything needed for an institution to begin printing high-quality IRDs from printable PCL files, including 30-ppm MICR printer, IRD paper and MICR toner.
