TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–A company that was first to go live with the new image capture product from Southeast Corporate Credit Union is reporting significant time and financial savings as a result. Offered through the $450-million Florida Telco CU, Jacksonville, Fla., the first user of Southeast’s Virtual Deposit Merchant Capture is a carpet cleaning business in which the check scanner is now installed in its headquarters, saving it a 20-mile round trip to make deposits. FTCU reported other businesses are now lining up part of Virtual Deposit Merchant Capture.

Updated ECM Solution Released

BASINGSTOKE, U.K.–De La Rue has launched its latest edition to its Enterprise Cash Management (ECM) suite of software cash processing products that is said has been developed specifically for credit unions. De La Rue reported ECM ISA Essence “aims to save up to 75% of the time it currently takes to complete manual cash deposits and reconciliation by credit union staff.

Student Loan CUSO Growing

HERNDON, Va.–The $1.5-billion Northwest FCU has become the sixth credit union of more than $1-billion in assets to join a new CUSO formed to offer student loans. Credit Union Student Choice was formed by Callahan Credit Union Financial Services Limited Partnership CUSO, Callahan & Associates, PSCU Financial Services, Digital Dialogue, L9.com, Credit Union Direct Lending (CUDL), and CU*Answers, among others. The CUSO’s loan program charges zero origination fees, lower interest rates and flexible repayment options. It is structured as a line of credit, which allows students to make multiple draws over the course of their entire college career.

15 Add Postillion’s IVR Solution

NORCROSS, Ga.–Postilion, a provider of integrated solutions for self-service banking and payment processing and a division of S1 Corp., said 15 new customers have deployed its Voice Banking to offer interactive voice response (IVR) services.
