eLynx Adds Watermarking Capabilities

CINCINNATI-eLynx, a provider of secure electronic document collaboration and distribution network services, said it has added watermarking capability to its paper delivery customers of the expediteT platform. "Watermarking and automated image routing provides an enhanced audit trail for the paper delivery channel," it said. "Documents are watermarked at the time of processing by expedite and an electronic copy is automatically routed to the lender's imaging system for record retention."

CSCU: Rewards Drive More Card Volume

CLEARWATER, Fla.-In a study of its member's credit card portfolio performances, Card Services for Credit Unions (CSCU) reported that more than 60% of total Visa card industry volume is now generated on cards offering rewards. CSCU added that during 2007, CSCU portfolios with its ScoreCard rewards program experienced, on average: 16.94% higher average account growth than those without rewards; 4.8% more active accounts than those without rewards; 27.8% higher usage than those without rewards; 36.6% higher volume per account than those without rewards; 20.4% higher average balances than those without rewards, and 8.3% higher total revenue per account than those without rewards

MeridianLink Aids In Public Service CU Merger

COSTA MESA, Calif.-MeridianLink is reporting that Denver-based Public Service Credit Union has realized unexpected benefits in the use of its technology in a merger that grew it to 120,000 members from about 77,000.

"The automation of the full spectrum of financial services-from account opening through loan processing-has been a critical component of PSCU's success in managing the merger," the company said. Public Service Credit Union began using MeridianLink's XpressAccounts and LoansPQ in January of 2008.

Philadelphia FCU Joins Select-A-Branch

KING OF PRUSSIA, Penn.-The Select-A-Branch ATM Network (S-A-B) said that Philadelphia FCU has become the latest to join its surcharge-free network. PFCU members will have access to more than 150 S-A-B locations in Pennsylvania and more than 100 New York City-based McDonalds franchise restaurants. "Patent-pending technology provides PFCU with the unique ability to deliver those transactions digitally branded in the credit union's corporate colors and logo," the company said.

OCCU Chooses MortgageFlex Lending System

SANTA ANA, Calif.-Orange County's Credit Union has selected the MortgageFlex LoanQuest Residential Lending System to originate mortgages to its 83,000 members. "LoanQuest supports all aspects of the retail mortgage process with numerous system functions that allow lenders to automate or eliminate manual steps, the company said.
