SAN JOSE, Calif.-Calyx Software has added a hazard insurance category in the Calyx Network, connecting users of Calyx Point loan origination software with participating hazard insurance vendors. The hazard insurance category is accessed within Point's services menu. Once the hazard insurance quote is generated, the borrower can purchase coverage online or on the phone.

RemitPlus Adds Enhancements
MONETT, Mo.-ProfitStars, a unit of Jack Henry, said it has enhanced RemitPlus, its enterprise payment system that automates electronic check deposits, with the Key-Pay Convene data completion solution provided by Orbograph. RemitPlus is an automated remittance processing and electronic deposit solution that enables businesses to scan and capture images of checks and payment vouchers, stubs, or coupons. The paper checks are converted into electronic transactions that are processed via ACH or through the Check 21 image exchange network.
