MEMPHIS, Tenn.-uMonitor unveiled the latest version of uOpen and uFund, an online account opening and funding solution with switch kit.

uOpen and uFund 5.0 provides a more user-friendly experience and includes the uMonitor back office management, branch and call center consoles, which give staff the ability to manage application process as well as analyze the service results. Additional features include a new reporting and analytical module and a switch kit reporting feature to monitor usage and increase financial relationship switching to become their customers' primary financial institution.

CO-OP, CUSC Meet With NCUA's Fryzel

ALEXANDRIA, Va.-NCUA Chairman Michael E. Fryzel welcomed CO-OP FS CEO Stan Hollen, and CU Services Corp. CEO Carroll Beach to NCUA headquarters. "The credit union industry is better able to enhance its member service offerings through organizations such as the Co-Op Network and Credit Union Services Corporation, and I appreciate hearing from Mr. Beach and Mr. Hollen about their respective operations," Fryzel said of the visit. Credit Insurance Revenue Explored

WASHINGTON-NAFCU Services Corp. and Securian Financial Group Inc. announced the availability of a new webcast titled "Maximizing Your Credit Insurance Revenue." The eight-minute online video spotlights Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union's credit insurance program and offers four key areas to focus on for success.

"We challenge credit unions to look at existing offerings first when looking for ways to grow the bottom line," said John Gibbons, national sales consultant for Securian. "Credit insurance is a product that Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union has been able to grow significantly over its 13 years with Securian. It is an excellent case study for other credit unions."

Touchstone FCU Signs With Share One

MEMPHIS, Tenn.-Touchstone FCU, Wilmington, Mass., recently contracted with Share One Inc., and will convert to NewSolutions in July 2009. "NewSolutions will allow us to do a better job streamlining the service process," said Touchstone CEO James McCorkle.
