CUBC Has $45M SBA Capacity
MIRAMAR, Fla.-CU Business Capital, LLC (CUBC) is making available an initial capacity of $45 million in SBA loans. The CUSO said priority will be given to companies that can demonstrate the loan will help to create jobs, and that the company has verifiable current and future demand for its products and services. Companies that can also show they manufacture "green" products will be given priority consideration, CUBC said.
CUBC and its member CU are primarily focused along the West Coast, but the company said that if the initial lending is successful it will expand with a second tranche from its combined $1 billion in commercial lending and SBA capacity.
TMG Signs Citizens Community
DES MOINES-Fort Dodge, Iowa-based Citizens Community Credit Union, recently renewed its debit card processing contract with Des Moines-based TMG (The Members Group), which has been the credit union's credit and debit card processor for almost 15 years.
Citizens Community sold its credit card portfolio to TMG's sister company, TMG Financial Services, in 2008. The debit processing contract comprises more than 7,300 Citizens Community-issued VISA debit cards.

Bluepoint Launches RDC Consumer
VISTA, Calif.-Bluepoint Solutions has launched a remote capture product called RDC Consumer. Bluepoint's solution provides credit union members the ability to deposit checks from any location at any time using a computer with a secure Internet connection and a scanner.
Bluepoint said the solution offers CUs a new source of fee income and significantly reduces operational costs.
