US Biometrics Intros AccessQ Lite

NAPERVILLE, Ill.-US Biometrics has introduced a new biometric access control device called AccessQ Lite that is now shipping to customers. AccessQ uses fingerprint identification to grant access to doorways and entrances. Officials said it is a secure and cost-effective alternative to proximity and magnetic swipe cards or PIN systems. The biometric fingerprint scanner mounts on a wall near an interior door and when wanting to gain access, an individual simply places a finger on the scanner for authorization.
