FSCC Partners With FMSI

ATLANTA-Financial Service Centers Cooperative Inc. (FSCC), has entered into a partnership with Atlanta-based Financial Management Solutions Inc. (FMSI) to offer its member CUs a suite of branch performance tools.

"These tools are designed to improve service, reduce operating costs and increase credit union profitability by targeting non-interest operating expenses," FSCC stated.

Leading to the partnership are statistics showing that branch teller transaction volume has declined 19.1% over the past five years while teller salary rates have increased by 18.9%.

Fair Isaac Boosts Fraud Detection

MINNEAPOLIS-Fair Isaac Corp. said it will team up with NYCE Payments Network, LLC to deliver innovative device-profiling technology to the debit card industry, providing NYCE Network participants with one of the best fraud detection and prevention offerings in its class.

With NYCE, Fair Isaac will extend its proven account-profiling technology to ATMs and POS terminals to determine the fraud risk associated with individual devices.

Based on data from NYCE's network of 280,000 ATMs and 1.5 million POS locations nationwide, the technology will identify typical, non-fraud transaction patterns for each terminal and create device profiles that enable detection of abnormal, potentially fraudulent transaction patterns.

TNB Card Services Signs Two CUs

DALLAS-Two more credit unions have moved their debit card processing to TNB Card Services to enhance security, improve service, and reduce costs.

Emory FCU and North East Texas CU, add more than 12,500 fully integrated PIN and signature debit cards to TNB's debit processing operations.

Emory FCU of Atlanta has used TNB for its credit card processing for nearly 20 years.

The 17,000-member credit union has $88 million in assets. North East Texas CU, founded in 1948, originally served employees of Lone Star Steel Company.

It now serves four Texas counties in the far northeast corner of the state. The 11,000-member credit union has assets of $81 million.
