CUBC, NEFCU Offer Training Programs

WESTBURY, N.Y.–CU Business Capital LLC (CUBC) partnered with Nassau Educators FCU to conduct several small business training programs over a two-day period. Branch managers and assistant branch managers attended a total of four sessions that included training on: identifying business members, business product/service knowledge, branch marketing strategies and sales planning.

Auto Dealership Changes Name

WEST ALLIS,Wis–CU Fleet Auto, which reports it is the largest credit-union owned leasing company in the U.S., is changing its name to Donald Driver Motors. The dealership is a unit of Central States Mortgage. Driver, best known as a wide receiver with the Green Bay Packers, is part of a new partnership that has acquired a Buick dealership. In addition to Driver, the partnership includes Central States Mortgage CEO Richard Jungen, and CU Fleet Auto President Tom Burns, who will manage both dealerships. CU Fleet Auto partners with 14 Wisconsin-based CUs.

PEFCU Offers Auto-Buying Service

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.–The $475-million Purdue Employees FCU (PEFCU) and Members Auto Source (MAS) have partnered to offer a no-cost, personalized auto-buying service. Members can buy a new or used vehicle and can make their request online, by phone or in person. MAS will find the requested vehicle, negotiate a price, and arrange delivery to any PEFCU branch.

Verint Systems Relaunces Website

MELVILLE, N.Y.–Verint Systems, a security solutions firm, relaunched its site to provide easier access to information on its contact centers, branch and remote offices and back-office operations. All can be found under the Enterprise Workforce Optimization header. Additionally, information on workforce management, speech and data analytics, quality monitoring, performance management, forecasting and scheduling can be found on the new website.
