Corporate Realigns Management

MIDDLETOWN, Penn.–Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU announced a realignment of its senior management. Jay R. Murray, who will assume the role of CEO in August 2008, has been appointed president and COO, while Edward Fox retains the title of CEO until his retirement July 31. All current vice presidents were promoted to SVP.

The senior management team includes: James E. Burns, SVP, CFO; Bob T. Frank, SVP, Information Systems; Lori A. Gall, SVP, Administration; Janice A. Goodling, SVP, HR; Drew J. Kishbaugh, SVP, Payment Services; Rodney A. May, SVP, Member Services; Leigh E. Philibosian, SVP, Marketing; Brad C. Stewart, SVP, CIO; and Jeffrey M. Stoner, SVP, Product Strategy. Lori Gall will assume the duties of the Compliance and Risk Department in addition to her current administration role. Bruce Six, SVP, Asset and Liability Management, will lead the newly created Asset and Liability Management (ALM) department. Susan E. Souders has been promoted to AVP, Administration.

Credit Reporting Tool Launched

GARDEN GROVE, Calif.–Informative Research has launched OriginatorDirect, which it says will enablemid-sized, or “tier-2” credit reporting agencies to access and share advanced credit reporting technology, as well as other risk reduction tools, without paying licensing fees or altering workflow.

The application will also allow lenders to connect to a larger broker audience through a network of credit reporting agency users. Billing will be based on a low, per-transaction fee, and there will be no charge for standard setup. Free training will be provided for all subscribers.

MnCUN Names 19 New VIPs

ST. PAUL, Minn.–The Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) welcomed 19 participants to its 2008 Vendor Involvement Program.

Created in 2005, the program is designed to optimize business relationships with Minnesota credit unions by combining advertising, annual meeting packages, and the opportunity to participate in new MnCUN initiatives.

A partial list of vendors include: Credit Union Direct Lending, CUNA Mutual Group, Members United Corporate FCU, CO-OP Financial Services, CU Companies and MnCUSC. MnCUN represents the state’s 163 not-for-profit cooperative credit unions serving more than 1.5 million members.
