Wharton Teams With CUNA

MADISON, Wis.-CUNA's CU360 recently added another level of business intelligence for CU professionals through its strategic affiliate relationship with Knowledge@Wharton, the onlineresearch and business analysis journal of the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Through the relationship, content from Knowledge@Wharton will be delivered to interested CU360 subscribers, subscribers of CU360 RateAlert, and CU executives through a special co-branded Internet site, located at cu360.cuna.knowledgeatwharton.com.

Tranax, CDS Release Gift Card

NEWARK, Calif.-Tranax Technologies Inc. and Columbus Data Services announced a partnership to provide new gift card functionality and increased transactions capabilities to the retail and financial institutions markets. The new gift card program, which is called "ZIPPAY," features a Maestro branded signature gift card that can be used anywhere debit cards are accepted. The program will feature Tranax's gift card dispensing Hybrid ATM Platform, based on the Tranax Mini-Bank x4000 and HK2000 sidecar, with processing and gift card support provided by CDS. The sidecar features a bill acceptor and card dispenser to support purchases of the gift cards with either cash or debit cards at the terminal.

TMG Purchases Portfolios

DES MOINES, Iowa-TMG Financial Services is launching an agent issuing program that features the ATIRAcredit Platinum Mastercard. Under the program, the CU's logo will be displayed on the front of the card, and CUs will be able to:

* Join in a loan participation program that allows credit unions to invest in the overall TMG Financial Services credit card portfolio at an above-market rate.

* Participate in the ownership of the company.

* Serve on one of three advisory councils-operations, strategy and marketing.

* Approve members for a credit card based on TMG Financial underwriting guidelines.
