SPOKANE, Wash. – Numerica CU announced yesterday it has signed a three-year contract with TraceSecurity to provide it with data protection and online compliance services. Under the contract, the $650 million credit union will use TraceSecurity’s Compliance Manager software; TraceTunnel, an encryption tool for TCP/ISP services; and TraceSecurity’s penetration testing, vulnerability and security training services. Numerica CU also hired TraceSecurity to perform its ‘social engineering’ service, in which the company attempts to gain unauthorized access to restricted areas and classified information to determine vulnerability of online data.
