HARTFORD, Conn. – Nutmeg State FCU gave one person a two-minute run to collect all the groceries they want at a Price Shopper store to celebrate the opening of the credit union’s new branch there.

The winner grabbed $802 worth of groceries during the two-minute spree. “The contest was a fun way for us to give back to our new community,” said John Holt, president of the $330-million credit union.
Nutmeg State is the first credit union to open a branch inside the Price Chopper store.
