NuUnion CU Rolls Out K-12 Education Loans

LANSING, Mich. – NuUnion CU last week launched a new student loan program to help parents pay for private kindergarten, elementary and high school.

The program covers both tuition and books and comes with no fees, no prepayment penalty and competitive interest rates, the credit union said.

The private school loans are seen as a complement to the credit union’s college loans, provided through CU Student Choice. In 2009, NuUnion established the position of College Outreach Specialist to build relationships with high schools and colleges in the state of Michigan and provide educational support in the classroom and financial assistance to student members.
