NW Corp. Adds Merchant Cards

Northwest Corporate Credit Union has partnered with First Merchants Bancard Services to provide a merchant bankcard program for credit unions. According to Northwest Corporate, the new program allows members of credit unions of all sizes to be a part of the credit card industry and to grow their business by accepting credit cards. Some $1.8-trillion was spent on VISA cards last year alone. There are no sign-up fees, credit unions receive a percentage of net profits, and are not liable for unauthorized transactions.
