BIDDEFORD, Maine – Ocean Communities FCU is asking area consumers in an advertising promotion “Do you Kasasa?” as part of the roll out of a new rewards program that offers members charitable donations, free iTunes downloads and other incentives for their free checking and savings accounts.
The $140 million credit union is launching the program Friday, two days before Valentine’s Day, as the WPOR Morning Crew broadcasts from the credit union’s Westbrook branch from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for a special Valentine’s Day Drive-Through Vow Renewal.
Ocean Communities is offering two Kasasa banking products, including Kasasa Cash and Kasasa Saver. Kasasa Cash is a free checking account that pays high interest in cash every month, Kasasa Saver is a high interest saver account linked to a Kasasa Cash checking account. The high interest and ATM fee refunds earned in the Kasasa Cash account are automatically deposited into the Kasasa Saver account each month. The balance in the Kasasa Saver account also earns a high rate of interest.
Kasasa was developed and is being distributed by BancVue.
