Ohio CUs Latest To Aid Oklahoma Storm Victims

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Adding to the CU support that has been flooding in to help Oklahoma towns recover from last week’s deadly tornadoes, the Ohio Credit Union Foundation has granted $5,000 in assistance for CU members and communities impacted by the destruction.

“We know the need by our credit unions friends in Oklahoma is great,” said Stan Barnes, chair of the OCUF board of trustees.

In 2012, OCUF – the philanthropic arm of the Ohio Credit Union League – granted $23,500 in disaster relief aid, including $10,000 for Hurricane Sandy victims.
