SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. – One of four men who held up a Vons FCU branch yesterday was quickly arrested, but the three others made their getaway after exchanging shots with a security guard.

A female employee was hurt during the robbery, which occurred at the branch on the grounds of the Vons supermarket distribution center.
The three other suspects escaped in a silver PT Cruiser, police said. At least one of the robbers fired shots at the guard when he tried to follow them in a van.
The fourth suspect was arrested after fleeing in a red Buick, which was stopped by police on the nearby Santa Ana Freeway.
