BEAVERTON, Ore. – Credit unions in Oregon and Washington completed their two-year commitment to raise $1 million to finance a professorship in pediatrics at the Oregon Health & Science University.

The funds will be donated to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital to endow the professorship, to be called the Credit Unions for Kids Professorship in Pediatric Neurology.
The Credit Unions for Kids programs in Oregon and Washington now set their sights on raising another $1 million for the Doernbecher Center to help finance research in pediatric neurosciences.
