ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – A prison parolee sought in three Philadelphia robberies last week was arrested while playing blackjack at the Trump Plaza Casino Tuesday.
Joseph Baer, paroled in February after serving six years behind bars for two bank robberies, allegedly was identified on surveillance videos robbing a TruMark Financial CU branch, as well as branches of PNC Bank and Citizen’s Bank.
Baer, 39, had been living at the Luzerne Community Corrections Center in North Philadelphia. His caseworker told investigators that she last spoke to him April 12 before he signed out to go to work at a McDonalds.
