PLEASANTON, Calif. – Patelco CU plans to add as many as 24 new service reps as it moves to its new headquarters campus here from its longtime downtown San Francisco home.
Credit union officials emphasize the additional hires are not related to the move.
Patelco is posting openings on its website, and encourages employee referrals with incentives starting at $1,000 for non-management positions and $3,000 for management or IT jobs.
The expansion represents a turnabout for the credit union giant, which has closed several branches over the past few years and reduced its size from $4.2 billion to $3.6 billion amid the economic downturn.
