Penn. CUs Aid Tornado Victims

Credit unions in Pennsylvania have raised more than $13,000 to assist residents of Clark, Penn., which was destroyed by a tornado producing winds up to 155 mph. One person was killed, and several injured, and the homes of many were devastated, including that of the sister of a Pennsylvania league VP.

"It isn't until you witness the devastation in your own community that you truly recognize the impact of the situation," said Dave Killa, CEO of Shenango Valley Teachers CU.

The funds have been donated to the Mercer County Chapter of the American Red Cross and Salvation Army.
