The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) is the new name for the Pennsylvania league. The new name had its official unveiling April 24 at the league's annual meeting. "Since credit unions are becoming more visible and respected within their communities, our name change will help better identify what the organization is to legislators, media, and the general public," said PCUA CEO Jim McCormack. The group, founded in 1934, also introduced a new logo.
Many of the women in this year's list are familiar to American Banker readers, including J.P. Morgan's Mary Callahan Erdoes, Fidelity Investmemts' Abigail Johnson and Synchrony Financial's Margaret Keane. Seven honorees are newcomers, including two, Maria Hackley and Ida Liu, from Citigroup.
