People Beat Dollars, Suggests Frank

Offering remarks more tailored to his audience, Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) expressed his concern that voters are no longer turning out because they feel they have no voice any longer.

Credit unions, however, refute that belief, he said, because despite being "out-contributed" by banking interests, credit unions have kept a high profile in Washington. "Congress is not in the business of worrying about financial institutions. We're worried about consumers," said Frank.
