PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Peoples CU has signed with VSoft Corp. to implement its back counter check processing solution through a direct relationship, leveraging the company’s VServe data center.
Peoples Credit Union said it chose VSoft for the flexibility and efficiency afforded by the company’s back counter solution as well as the ability to outsource check processing. The company said this deployment option will position the credit union to easily apply additional technology offerings, such as remote deposit capture, in the near future.
VSoft said its back counter capture solution features automated image and data workflows, which capture, correct, and balance transactions and include comprehensive validation features, reducing errors and accelerating processing. In addition to increasing back office productivity and decreasing costs, VSoft said automated processing and settlement will enable Peoples Credit Union to mitigate instances of fraud.
