SACO, Me. – PeoplesChoice CU has contributed almost $9,000 to nine York County food pantries.

PeoplesChoice raised the funds in 2008 through its annual Polar Bear Scramble Golf Tournament, bake sales, dress-down Fridays and other fundraisers throughout the year.
The contributions went to: Biddeford Bon Appetit, Biddeford Food Pantry, Saco Food Pantry, Soup On, Sanford Food Pantry, Wells Food Pantry, Southern Maine Area of Aging, Stone Soup Food Pantry and the York County Shelter Food Program.
