KELSO, Wash. -- A man who lined up the employees of Fibre FCU and pepper-sprayed them in the face during a robbery last May was sentenced last week to more than 36 years in prison. After spraying the credit union employees he left the credit union with a bag of cash, then bid two men outside the credit union, "Good day, gentlemen."

The 29-year-old Astoria, Ore., man, Ely Krouse, pleaded guilty to robbery and assault and was sentenced Thursday in Cowlitz County Superior Court.
After he fled the credit union robbery, Krouse drove to nearby Centralia and robbed a Bank of America branch there.
