Pioneer FCU Collections Officer Jailed in $560,000 Theft

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho – The former manager of the loan collections department at Pioneer FCU was sentenced yesterday to 46 months in prison after pleading guilty to embezzling more than $420,000 from the $210 million credit union.

Tammy Law, 34, managed the collections department of the credit union between 2002 and 2008.

Authorities believe the theft was more than $560,000, but could only prove $420,000 of the scheme. Law was ordered to pay $564,215 in restitution to the credit union.
