SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A prolific bank robber known by his tattooed arms, was arrested this week following a failed hold-up just north of the city, according to police.
Michael Koselka, 54, is believed to be the man known on surveillance videos for his tattoos who police believe robbed at least 16 California credit unions and banks since November 26, including hold-ups last month at branches of The Golden 1 CU and Wescom Central CU.
Koselka was captured in the city of Marysville after police halted his escape by slamming his getaway car into a building. Koselka previously served a 10-year prison term following a 1995 robbery spree in the Bay Area.
