VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - (08/25/05) Virginia Beach police are searching fora suspect who allegedly robbed a Brinks employee outside a ChartwayFederal Credit Union. Officials say the Brinks employee was puttingmoney into an ATM machine outside the credit union in the 300 blockof Kellam Road around 11:40 a.m. when he was approached from behindby a suspect armed with an assault rifle. The suspect told theemployee to get on the ground, then took the containers holding themoney for the ATM machine and fled.
