PPL Gold CU Adds Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s BSA, AML Training

ALLENTOWN, Penn. – PPL Gold Credit union has signed with Edcomm Banker’s Academy to use the company’s Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering online training for the next three years.

The credit union also signed to use Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s Learning Management System, Learning Link, for hosting and maintenance of Focus on BSA/AML for Credit Unions.

Edcomm Banker’s Academy said Focus on BSA/AML for Credit Unions is a computer-based, distance learning program which teaches banking and credit union compliance using easy-to-understand language in an interactive, self-paced format. The curriculum is customized for credit union positions such as Branch Managers, Platform Professionals, Consumer Lenders, and Tellers, and credit union departments such as Private Banking, Mortgage Lending, eBanking, Small Business Banking, Retail Lending, and Card Services. Focus on BSA/AML for Credit Unions covers: BSA, AML, Red Flags of Money Laundering, USA PATRIOT Act and OFAC, among other topics.
