ANNISTON, Ala. – A jail inmate who allegedly robbed a Fort McClellan FCU branch two weeks ago after he escaped from a drug rehab program was captured yesterday while he was hiding in an abandoned house.
Police said they arrested Glasco Stephens , 34, when he tried to use the bathroom in the house next door and was caught by the resident as he was coming home.
Stephens escaped from the Calhoun County Substance Abuse Center on April 20 then robbed the credit union branch the next day, according to police.
