Reader Poll Selects CU & MSR

APPLETON, Wis.-Community First Credit Union, and MEMBERS Financial Services representative Bill Bargholtz were named "Best of the Valley" in a readers' poll conducted by Appleton's Post-Crescent newspaper. Community First CU was named Best Financial Institution and Best Financial Planning Program, while Bargholtz, a CUNA Mutual Group representative at Community First, was recognized as Best Financial Advisor.

The fourth-annual awards are based on reader responses. This is the first time Bargholtz and Community First CU have been recognized as "Best of the Valley."

Triton Extends Ordering Hours

LONG BEACH, Miss-ATM vendor Triton announced extended our hours for parts ordering with the addition of its facility in Memphis, Tenn., which opened in July 2006. Triton customers can now place orders until 8 p.m. Central Standard Time, with most U.S. part orders shipped for next day arrival. Previously, only orders received by 2 p.m. CST could be shipped the same day for next day arrival.

Company officials said Triton ATMs are some of the most reliable ATMs on the market, averaging less than one service call per year, per ATM.

Tellagent, Share One Partner

MEMPHIS, Tenn.-Share One, Inc. and Tellagent, LLC have partnered to deploy a self-service kiosk, known as "FRED," that conducts electronic shared branch transactions and performs an array of financial services quickly and conveniently. It enables members to rapidly make deposits without the need for an envelope or deposit slip, withdrawals, pay loans and receive loan advances, transfer funds, and print account histories.

EVERTECH, Teams With ATH

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico-ATH Network processor EVERTEC signed an agreement with NYCE Payments Network, LLC, to allow purchases in the U.S. for holders of ATH debit cards issued by ATH Network affiliated banks and cooperatives in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The service allows customers to use their ATH debit card and PIN at any U.S. merchant that accepts NYCE.
