Alabama CUL Endorses JMFA

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. C.U. Lending Products, Inc., the Alabama league's service corp., has signed an agreement with John M. Floyd & Associates, Inc. naming the profitability-consulting firm as its "Preferred Business Partner" for the JMFA Overdraft Privilege program. Two More Card Portfolios Sold

PORTLAND, Ore. AssetExchange, a brokerage firm for credit card portfolios, said it has facilitated the sale two more credit union card portfolios to Elan. The $111-million Fenton, Mo.-based Alliance Credit Union and the $8-million Syracuse, N.Y.-based P & C Employees FCU have both sold their portfolios to Elan, which is part of Minneapolis-based U.S. Bancorp.

Encore Merchant Services Chosen

WAKEFIELD, Mass. Encore Merchant Services said that Rockville, Md.-based Public Health Service FCU has become an agent of Encore Merchant Services, allowing it to offer point-of-sale acceptance solutions to their member businesses. Encore Merchant Services will handle all aspects of payment card acceptance, including account application and establishment, point-of sale terminal deployment, product development, customer service, and risk management services.

Education Cruise Set To Sail

MADISON, Wis. CU EduCruises has scheduled a "World Class Risk Management" themed cruise for Nov. 9-16 in the Southern Caribbean aboard the Princess Cruise Lines' Dawn Princess.
