D. Hilton Survey Is Underway

THE WOODLANDS, Texas-D. Hilton Associates' reported its annual Executive Compensation and Staff Compensation surveys will soon arrive by mail at credit union offices throughout the nation. Survey forms are also available through the firm's Web site. Completed questionnaires may be returned by mail or fax. In addition, for the first time in 2006, survey participants may choose to submit information electronically, as an Excel spreadsheet. Data collection will continue through mid-June. Participants in the DHA compensation survey will receive substantial discounts toward purchase of the survey reports. The company said. The 2006 Executive Compensation Report will include 18 positions, up from 14 in 2005. The report will also add expanded coverage of variable pay programs.

Autoland Expands By 70%

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.-Credit Union car-buying service Autoland is set to expand its call center staff time by 70% to handle increased volume and expand its geographic base. Autoland will add two more days with operations on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Autoland will also seek business in new states to aid credit unions searching for new business in their own areas of operation.

CreditPlus Named Preferred Vendor

SALISBURY, Md.-Credit information provider Credit Plus has been named a preferred credit vendor of UniMortgage LLC, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based, non-prime mortgage lender licensed in 18 states. Credit Plus officials say UniMortgage's approved mortgage brokers will gain increased speed and productivity, as they can quickly and easily gain access to Credit Plus through UniMortgage's automated underwriting system, e-Smart. In addition, UniMortgage's approved mortgage brokers may utilize Credit Plus for credit reports and more.
