ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - (02/04/05) -- PSCU Financial Services and Firstdata Western Union Foundation said they have jointly contributed$100,000 to fund educational programs for students and seminars forteachers conducted by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. TheFoundation is a not-for-profit institution that preserves andoperates the restored 301-acre Colonial Williamsburg site inWilliamsburg, Va., and produces educational materials related tothe founding of the United States and life in the 18th century.Half of the money will pay for interactive electronic field tripsfor students at one of America's first settlements; and the otherhalf will fund a newly established Credit Union Week at theColonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute.
